Who is it?

Kelsey Creates is a passion project. It knows no bounds. At it’s heart is the belief that we are MADE to create, and that by allowing ourselves that space, we unlock powerful ways to connect with each other and the world around us on a deeper level.

I’m a self-taught artist who’s been drawing for as long as i can remember! I specialise in detailed fineline and realism—but I also love to break the mold and dive into bold, playful pen drawings that let me explore my own thoughts and creativity. I’ve never been one to stick to a “niche”!

My work is often inspired by introspection, emotional processing, and—like many creatives— by the need to make sense of life’s ups and downs. Song lyrics, personal memories, and quiet moments of reflection often find their way into my art.

Originally from a small country town in rural Victoria, Australia, I was always eager to explore beyond the familiar. I’ve lived all over Australia, and most recently spent the last three years between Canada and Japan. No matter where I go, I somehow always end up near the ocean or the snow—and when I’m not drawing (or being a bit of a hermit), you’ll find me outdoors, traveling, and soaking up the beauty of new places.

There’s nothing I love more than weaving those memories into the pieces I create.
